INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

HOW TO INSTALL XETA KITS

Install Instructions: 
 
1.     If you have an all-in-one modem and WiFi Router that your ISP provided, you will need to call them and ask how to turn off the WiFi function in your exisiting router and also how to put your modem in “bridge mode”
 
Once this is complete, plug in the power cable for the Xeta router and connect the ethernet port labeled with the globe icon to a free ethernet port on your ISP modem device. 
 
2.     If you have a separate WiFi system such as an “Eero” or “Netgear Orbi”  unplug the ethernet cable from your exsiting WiFI device and connect it to your Xeta router using the ethernet port that has the globe icon next to it. 
 
3.     Once the XETA router is connected to you ISP modem and powered on, scan the QR code at the bottom of the Xeta router and follow the step by step instructions to configure the first XETA router. 
 
4.     Once the setup process is complete on the first XETA router, plug in the second XETA router in the desired location (ideally a second floor or other location to maximize coverage). Plug it in to power. On the first XETA box there is a small white button on the back of the router at the very top above the ethernet ports. Push it once. It should start blinking white. Go to the second router and push the same button once. Allow 15 min for the devices to sync.
